Aquarium of Barcelona
The Barcelona Aquarium is located in Port Vell, the old harbour area of the city. The 35 aquariums at the facility are home to 11,000 animals representing 450 species. The aquarium contains a total of 5,000,000 litres including an ocean tank for sharks, rays and other large fish, which can be viewed through an underwater tunnel.
