Departure Day Field Study (with transport to the field study site)

For groups with a late departure time, a local field study requiring transport to the site can be made before an airport transfer. The journey time from the field study location to the airport should be an hour or less, which rules out field study sites further afield such as the River Tordera and Garrotxa.

Luggage should taken with you to enable an airport transfer immediately after the field study work is completed.

This arrangement can be problematical, as hotel rooms will not be available for changing or showering after the work.
